TYTON 2100 Series Pipe Data Generator

INTRODUCTION AND NOTES ON USE

  1. This calculator derives the key data for ductile iron pipe. Although K9 pipe is no longer manufactured, properties can be derived to allow assessment of old mains. Flange Class (FC) pipe has very similar properties to the superseded K12 class pipe. The variances are due to minor cement mortar lining thickness differences and are deemed negligible in most cases. The pressure Classes PN20 and PN35 are also included.
  2. The calculator is drop-down menu driven, the calculator being activated by a right-mouse click outside the data box.
