Valve Spindle Extensions
SUREFLOW Valve Spindle Extensions facilitate the remote operating of Gate Valves and are available in two configurations:
- AS Cast Ductile Iron Set lengths
- Fabricated to customer specified lengths
FEATURES
- Compatible for use with Dn80 to Dn600 gate valves
- Compatible for use with Dn750 to Dn1000 gate valves with a minimum gearbox ratio of 2:1
- Can safely withstand torques up to 3000Nm, 25% greater than the test torque of Dn600 gate valves
- Bitumen paint coating
- Fabricated version:
- Ductile Iron spindle cap and key for strength and long life operation
- Shaft is keyed and pinned to cap to avoid the need for welding, which is a common cause of failure
- Solid 32M square, grade 1045, alloy steel shaft provides strength and long life in aggressive conditions
