Plasson Pushfit Fittings

Plasson Series 1 are adaptable, reliable and fast push-fit fittings. Captive O-rings inside each Plasson Series 1 fitting makes it watertight up to PN16 the second it goes onto the pipe. Guaranteed for 50 years, these fittings are tool free, tamper proof and can withstand sub-zero temperatures.

Plasson Series 1 Push-Fit Fittings are a simple and easy solution that require no fastening or tools. These fittings are adaptable to wide range of pipe types such as copper, polybutylene and PEX pipe. Available from DN20-DN63, Plasson Series 1 fittings with female offtakes have a stainless steel reinforcing ring on all sizes from DN32. Manufactured from polypropylene, high grade copolymer, acetal and nitrile rubber.

SPECIFICATIONS

OPERATING TEMPERATURES

The fittings are not to be used with hot water, although they withstand the same temperature as the polyethylene pipe itself. The fittings will withstand sub-zero temperatures.
 

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Plasson fittings are supplied, as standard, with polyacetal split and grip rings and NBR seals which are suitable for water.


OPERATING PRESSURES AND QUALITY CERTIFICATES

Plasson fittings sizes 20-63 are tested and approved according to AS4129 to PN16
