4N Tapping Bands

4N Tapping Bands are an easy and quick way to tap into new and existing pipelines. Suited for a wide range of pipes, each tapping band is colour coordinated for each application or type. 4N Tapping Bands are suitable for water mains (blue), irrigation (white), recycled water (lilac) and polyethylene pipe (black).

AT A GLANCE

4N Tapping Bands are manufactured with a nylon blend plastic and grade 316 stainless steel bolts and nuts with an E-Lip seal. The E-Lip seal requires low bolt torque to be effective, reducing the point loading on the pipe. Approved by the Water Service Association of Australia (WSAA), Tapping Bands are available in DN40 to DN300, with tapping points available from DN20 to DN50 in accordance with AS1722.
