Socket Leak Clamp

WANG Socket Leak Clamp's light and interlocking ring segments and gaskets allow for a quick and economical way to seal or prevent leakage in the socket-spigot joints of asbestos cement, cast iron pipes and ductile iron manufactured prior to 2003. These clamps suit DN80 to DN1200 with a maximum operating pressure of 1600kpa.

FEATURES

  • Suitable for most cast iron, asbestos cement and ductile iron (prior to 2003)
  • Available with galvanised steel or 316 stainless steel fasteners
  • Eliminates need to cut out affected collar or socketed-spigot joint
  • Temperature: -10°C to +60°C
  • Interlocking segments and gaskets for easy installation and eliminating onsite cutting
  • Nitrile gasket suited to pipe OD

Made from ductile iron, WANG Socket Leak Clamp's can be installed on a pipe under working pressure, with the interlocking feature eliminating the need for cutting the pipe itself. Please note that Socket Leak Clamps do not provide axial restraint.
