AB Butterfly

AVFI's AB Series Butterfly Valves are bi-directional with hard phenolic seat, with standard pin connection between disc and stem, available in both wafer and lugged style. Suitable for most general purpose applications.

AT A GLANCE

The AB range of butterfly valve incorporates a double o-ring stem seal design, PTFE or Bronze stem bushing reducing valve torques while also prevents corrosion of the valve stem. Shaft seal is by means bonding of the elastomer and phenolic backing rings which protects against distortion which is a common cause of shaft leakage.

The precision profile of the disc ensures bubble-tight shot-off ensuring long seal life and low torque values. The easily replaceable seal liner is phenolic backed, non-collapsible with good stretch resistance. Standard connection between disc and shaft by means of pinning with optional spline or square connection available upon request.

Top flanges as per ISO 5211 for simple fitting of handle or actuator.
